New Pattern in my Etsy shop this morning: www.etsy.com/shop/DianeKnottLLC

Easy stitches! I promise!
😉
And those "dratted" French knots in the center of the main flower can be substituted with satin stitches if you're anti-French knots!

I've designed two little floral ornament embroidery pattern downloads that could also be made into brooches instead, or filled with lavender and stuffed and sewn as bowl fillers. I think I'll hang mine on some cupboard knobs for the summer. www.etsy.com/shop/DianeKnottLLC is where you can find them. #floralbooch #floralornament #Valdani #embroiderypattern #DianeKnottpattern #embroidery #handembroidery #floralembroidery #embroiderybrooch #bowlfillerpattern #ornamentpattern #summerembroidery

"Primrose Path" - the name reminds me of a song from Back in The Day 50s rock n' roll.

This is another in my floral garden series hand embroidery pattern downloads.

Spring has finally decided it's ok to appear today here in PA.

The temperature was 75 when I last looked at

the thermometer, and the sun is shining,

birds are singing, lovely soft music playing here in

my studio as I work.

Enjoy YOUR spring day!

I shall!

I've been busy working on a huge collection of

floral embroidery patterns this year.

This is just one more in the series.

I hope you'll visit the shop to see them all and maybe

spend some relaxing time this year working on

one. Heaven knows we've all had a stressful couple

of years and needlework is healing. It's been so very healing

for me. Wishing you blessings, friends....

I've been absent from my blog for ages!
Hopefully, spring will bring some new enthusiasm on my part
for keeping up-to-date here!  Apologies for the neglect!

See my newest embroidery pattern in the photo below.  😃You can find the link to my Etsy shop here:  www.etsy.com/shop/DianeKnottLLC  I hope you'll stop by and take a look at all of my other newest designs, which I may have been "delinquent" in not posting here on the blog.  I hope you're enjoying your summer and that it's not as hot as it has been here.  I am SO ready for fall.  Are you too?

In honor of summer! <3
What is summer without fresh 'maters?!
It's the dog days of summer, isn't it. And it's been one that I'm sure dogs don't like unless they have a nice big bowl of cold water and a shady place to sleep all day.  ;-)  I'll take iced tea instead, my studio, my needles, threads and fabric.  And that's what I've been up to - ignoring the heat, opening the windows, smelling fresh air, listening to the birds singing - we have one we are trying to identify but it keeps itself well-hidden.  We call it the "Squeaky Bird" because it's "song" (if you can call it a song) sounds like one of those little tin penny whistles that you find in tourist trap gift shops.  You know, the ones you are sorry you bought for your kids because all the way home that's what you hear from the back seat.  ;-)

Here is one of my newest embroideries - just listed in the shop.  I hope you'll stop by and check out my other little mug rug patterns. More are on the drawing board and in my hoop!  Will be sharing and listing soon!

I hope you enjoy your summer afternoon. Mine appears to be pleasantness in the making!

If you know me, you know I'm a country girl.  I love doing watercolors of barns and also creating embroidery patterns of them.  On that note...  :-)  Here is my latest barn embroidery pattern that is also adaptable to punch needle.  I've included directions for both in my instructions.

You can find the downloadable pattern here:
